LEADING PARKOUR IN ARIZONA

Scottsdale Parkour and Freerunning (SPF) has been leading the sport of parkour in Arizona for over 8 years. We have some of the valleys best coaches who have been pioneers of the sport for many years and continue to be enthusiasts of the sport personally. We also offer an in house certification program for those that are interested in pursuing a career in Parkour or just bettering their knowledge of the sport. If interested in learning more about our certification program or the Parkour program at SPF please contact Kayla Walker our Director of Parkour at kayla@scottsdaleparkour.com.

This class introduces students to the fundamental skills and terminology of parkour at an age appropriate level. Coaches incorporate a variety of games that allow kids to play while encouraging strength development.

All levels of parkour emphasize obstacle training that involves jumping, crawling, climbing, and balancing. With each level, athletes train to move through any obstacle and develop higher level movements and complex flow patterns. As athletes move through different levels coaches introduce skills one step at a time. Skills are broken up into multiple components where coaches guide athletes through acquiring the skill in safe progressions.

Students looking to advance levels need to have an understanding of what their limits are and know when they should and should not be tested.
